Programs & Source Code

Here you will find programs and source code from some of my projects.  Most of my stuff was written using Visual C++ v 4.0.  I won't include every thing necessary to compile and link the projects rather only source files.

If you would like to contribute anything to my archive please e-mail it to me and I will post it for everybody to see.  Make sure it is in a zip format, and leave a short description.  All contributions are appreciated.

Most programs I have written will require some DLLs to run.  This is because they use MFC.  You can get all the necessary system files from the download center.

CD-Organizer (Download)

A CD organizer aimed at those 100 disk players.  May require system files.
Direct Sound Test (Download) A good learning tool, example of using direct sound.  Requires Direct X
Firework Screen Saver (Download) A windows screen saver with ground or air exploding projectiles. Requires Direct X. (Unstable some times)
Helicopter Game (Download) An incomplete game, but some good examples of using multiple layers of maps and tiles. Requires Direct X. May not run if you don't have a joystick installed.
Pong Game (Download) Simple pong game, but good examples of using MIDI, palette fading, simple direct draw and direct sound routes. Requires Direct X
Slide Saver (Download) Pretty robust windows 95 screen saver. Much more of a screen saver than Fireworks - it has the necessary code to use passwords, disable Ctrl+Alt+Del, etc. There is much more involved in writing a real screen saver than you would think!
Snow Now (Download) Cool looking snow simulation, but still a work in progress. With the next update hopefully the accumulation portion of the program will work right.

Keep checking back, more will be coming.

If you have any problems are a hard time understanding something please ask me: sssmoker@hotmail.com
