IRC

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a service of the Internet, just as the World Wide Web and e-mail are. IRC provides a means of having group chats. These chats take place in "channels" on the many different IRC networks.

To use IRC, you will have to obtain an IRC client program. The most popular of these is MIRC. Whichever IRC client you are using, you will have to choose an IRC server to connect to. To get into the #gaytrinidad channel, you will have to choose a server with "undernet" in its address or description.

Once connected to the server, you will want to join the #gaytrinidad channel. On entering the channel, you should see the other people who are currently in the channel. When you send a message, it will go to all persons currently in the channel. It is also possible to have private chats.

The number of persons in the channel at one time varies from time to time. It is most occupied at night and there are usually less than 10 people in the channel.
