Don't ask me how it happened, but I bruised my tailbone. It felt fine yesterday when I left work. I got home, putzed around on the computer for a while, talked to Dave, and then got up out of the chair to go to bed... And my butt hurt. I had one hell of a time sleeping, since no matter which way I arranged myself my tailbone hurt. Work today's been just peachy; I've been driving and walking and every time I move my legs the bottom of my spine throbs. I hate this. I'm always finding mysterious injuries on myself that I can't remember getting. It's usually a bruise or a scratch on my arms. Many times I just call the injury a UPI: Unidentified Partying Injury. Back when I used to paint the town red (sheesh, I'm talking like I'm elderly or something) I would get these mysterious owies. Now, they just show up for no apparent reason. Just the other day I found a huge scrape on my arm, and I don't have a clue how it got there. Ditto to the bruise on my knee. Anyway, the last time I hurt my tailbone I was pretty young. I was screwing around on the swings at school, and spun out of control, smacking my tail against one of the supports. That hurt. I'm not sure if I can just handle pain better now, or if I actually hurt myself worse then, but I'm not screaming in pain every time I move now. I wish I knew what I did. The only thing I can think of is really stupid - that I sat so still last night that I gave myself a wedgie and bruised my.... Nah. Too stupid. Well, I'm at work, and I need to go repark the buses in the garage. I'll just go eeowch my way out there. Night.
