I got my laundry done today. All I need to do now is take out the garbage and do some dishes and I'll be ready for Dave's visit. bounce bounce bounce I had a chat with my supervisor about the full time thing. I'm not exactly pleased with how it turned out, but at least she realizes that I'm not happy with how things are right now. The question is whether she's smart enough to realize that she's close to losing an employee. Now, before I would actually go and quit a few things would have to happen. First, I'd have to find another (better) job. If and when that occurs, I would take the offer and go to her, and then talk to the Big Boss. He isn't directly involved in operations, but I know he views me as a valuable employee. How do I know this? He's told me. And other people have said that he thinks I'm valuable. I have computer experience, a good head on my shoulders, I show up for work on time, and I have extensive experience in transit. He's used those words. If he's blowing smoke about that, I'll learn it when I take the offer to him. "I've been offered another job. Here's what they're offering me. Will you be willing to match or exceed it?" shrug At this point, though, I'm in it for the money. I'm not looking to spend my life in transit and they know that. But the Big Boss has said, "I have plans for you." True, I could be a little naïve to think that he'd move heaven and earth to keep me with the company. But if I do find another job that pays better and he won't fight to keep me, I'll still be better off. Heh. Of course, this is all speculation until I find a better paying job. grin

______ of the Day Today's rumble was in my tummy. SERIOUS rumblings. Ick. Don't worry, I'm all better now.
Skimming Most of today's reading was done in the bathroom, if you get my drift...
