Desk Rider
is a nice free program - desktop utility, which scrolls your text on your desktop.
It gives you selection from a bunch of options: you can specify the speed of the
scrolling text, its vertical position on desktop,change direction of scrolling - left or
right, and select the font of the text, where you can specify typeface, italic, bold, size
of the text & its color.
