Desk Rider is a nice free desktop tool, which scrolls your text on your desktop window. You can specify the speed of the text, select its vertical position on the desktop, change direction of scrolling - left or right, and select the font of the text, where you can specify typeface, italic, bold, size of the text & its color.

History of creating of Desk Rider.

First was a picture.

          History of creating of picture.
  First this picture has black color instead of flame.
  I had a Maze screensaver on my computer & one time I decided to have a copy of picture, when screensaver starts. I pressed print screen on start & received a picture in clipboard.
  As you see, there are bitmaps on the walls, floor,ceiling from themes.I placed received picture on the desktop. But this did not induce me to create Desk Rider.
  Some time ago I met flame in screen saver for  DOS & I decided to change wallpaper.
  So  I decided to put flame instead of black color. As you see I did it.

I placed this picture on my desktop & some time later I had an idea, that it will be nice, when in the middle of the picture, on desktop,on the flame, will scroll the text. So I decided to create application that can do this. Desk Rider was released long time ago after creating.
