Jay Ferguson

So Jay's your favourite member of Sloan, eh? Well, why not tell the rest of the world why he's the coolest one out of all the Sloan guys. Is it his awesome guitar playing? His beautiful songs? His wonderful lyrics? Whatever the reason, send it in and I'll put it up here with all the other reasons why Jay rawks.

Jay is wonderful because he's not a loud talker. And he's got his own style. Funky hair and kick ass guitar skills. I don't play guitar because of Jay, but he sure is one of the reasons I strive.

Last summer my best friend and I made up some stupid actions to The Lines You Amend. A few months later we saw Sloan in concert in Winnipeg. We were in the second row. The bouncers were not letting anybody get near the stage. At the start of The Lines You Amend, everybody in the first row stormed the stage, but we poor 2nd-rowers were trapped. Thus, there was a big empty space between us and Sloan, and they could see us really well. So we did our stupid little actions, and Jay was the only one who saw us, and he laughed while he was singing, and after the song he said, "Nice choreography you two. Thanks." right into the mic. That just made my day.
